Scanning Radio Frequency Analysis

The RF analyzer PXI module by National Instruments integrates seamlessly with the spectroscopy functions of the Nanonis SPM Control System. Such extensions make it possible to perform high precision local RF spectroscopy of carbon Nanotubes as it is used for example by Chris von Haesendonck from the University of Leuven, Belgium.

Nanonis Virtual STM

Nanonis releases its STM simulator to the public. Go to http://sim.nanonis.ch to register and download the simulator.
The simulator lets you explore the various possibilities of the full SPM Control System, including scanning on a simulated Si-111 surface, exploring the functions of the internal lock-in detector, recording approach-retract curves, point spectroscopy and more.

Plug & Play Adaptation Kit for Omicron LT-STM

Nanonis' newest product is a Plug & Play adaptation kit for the Omicron LT-STM. With it the customers get the best of both worlds, the excellent mechanics of the Omicron LT-STM combined with the stability of a Nanonis Control System. The first customer has already ordered a Nanonis system with the adaptation kit.

Project on Nanomanipulation

Nanonis signed a contract with the Swiss Commission for Technology and Innovation (CTI) and the University of Basel for the development of a strategically important nanomanipulation platform. Researchers in this field of nanomanipulation should now consider switching to the Nanonis SPM control system since it will become quickly the leading platform for such key nanotechnology applications.
